A native Floridian, Lauren moved to Vero Beach in 1976. She attended St. Edward's School, Gettysburg College and is an alumnus of Florida State University. For a time, Lauren joined her dad in his citrus business where she had the opportunity to sell fresh Indian River Grapefruit in Japan and Europe. Through her travels to many countries during this time, she developed a hands on understanding of cultural diversity and extraordinary negotiating skills.

Lauren believes in our community and her commitment is more than lip service. She is a founding member of the Alumni Association of St. Edward's School, has been involved in seven builds for Habitat for Humanity and is a Life Member and past president of the American Cancer Society of Indian River County. She continues to be involved in "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" in Indian River.

Leadership and Education are Lauren's passions. She has served as President of the Realtors Association of Indian River, holds the GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute) designation, E-Pro designation and is currently working on her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation.

With her life partner, Bruce Chalker, a local businessman, they have found a way to make their love for camping and kayaking a benefit to our community. In their spare time, you can find them cleaning up our river as part of "Keeping Indian River Beautiful". Lauren and Bruce also are advocates for animals. They have rescued many over the years and currently their cat Kujo and three dogs Clementine, Burt and Lyca are all enjoying the good life.

The intensity of Lauren's concern for her environment and her profession extend to the level of concern she brings to each real estate transaction in which she is involved. No matter how high your level of expectation of your Realtor, Lauren has what it takes to meet your needs.
