help you get to know about Lauren before you agree to engage her to help you with your real
estate needs.
A
native Floridian, Lauren moved to Vero Beach in 1976. She attended St.
Edward's School, Gettysburg College and is an alumnus of Florida State
University. It was during this time that Lauren developed such a strong
regard for education and she brings her clients a unique ability to
facilitate their real estate transactions, while keeping them informed every
step of the way.

Licensed in 1985, Lauren's real estate career has spanned development,
property management and residential sales from South Florida to some of Vero
Beach's most prestigious communities. For a time, Lauren joined her dad in
his citrus business where she had the opportunity to sell fresh Indian River
Grapefruit in Japan and Europe. Through her travels to many countries during
this time, she developed a hands on understanding of cultural diversity and
extraordinary negotiating skills.
Lauren believes in our community and her commitment is more than lip
service. She is a founding member o f
the Alumni Association of St. Edward's School, has been involved in seven
builds for Habitat for Humanity and is a Life Member and past president of
the American Cancer Society of Indian River County. She continues to be
involved in "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" in Indian River.
Leadership and Education are Lauren's passions. She has served as President
of the Realtors Association of Indian River, holds the GRI (Graduate of the
Realtors Institute) designation, E-Pro designation and is currently working
on her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation.
With
her life partner, Bruce Chalker, a local businessman, they have found a way
to make their love for camping and kayaking a benefit to our community. In
their spare time, you can find them cleaning up our river as part of
"Keeping Indian River Beautiful". Lauren and Bruce also are advocates for
animals. They have rescued many over the years and currently their cat Kujo
and three dogs Clementine, Burt and Lyca are all enjoying the good life.
The intensity of Lauren's concern for her environment and her profession
extend to the level of concern she brings to each real estate transaction in
which she is involved. No matter how high your level of expectation of your
